2026 – Additional Placement Procedure for the Admission of International Students to Associate’s and Bachelor’s Degree Programs
Preferences for the additional placement process will be accepted online between September 1-4, 2026.
ATTENTION!
Candidates who applied during the application period between July 27-31, 2026, and whose applications were accepted but who were not placed in any program, will have the right to make preferences for the additional placement process.
Candidates who did not apply during the application period between July 27-31, 2026, those who applied but whose applications were not accepted, and those who were placed in a program, do not have the right to make preferences for the additional placement process.
The preferred programs are listed on the preference screen as shown in the example below. Candidates must ensure that their preferences are listed as shown in the example on the preference screen.

IMPORTANT NOTICE!
Due to the fact that the quotas for all programs at Buca Faculty of Education, except for the Teacher Training in Sciences and Teacher Training in Turkish programs, as well as the Faculty of Dentistry and Faculty of Medicine programs, are less than 10;
No quotas have been allocated to candidates holding a Blue Card or a Document of Renunciation of Turkish Citizenship, and candidates with dual citizenship (one of which is Turkish) and Turkish citizenship who completed their high school education abroad (excluding the T.R.N.C.), as per the provision in the Higher Education Council Presidency’s “Principles Regarding the Admission of Students from Abroad” that the quotas for these programs should not exceed 10%. These candidates should take this into consideration when making their choices.

Placement:
Meeting the application requirements does not give the right to be placed in the program. In the placement process of candidates, the high score, order of preference and the number of candidates of the same nationality admitted to a program are taken into consideration. The number of candidates who have the right to enroll from the same nationality cannot exceed %20 of the total quota of the relevant program.
If the scores of the candidates are equal, the order of preference is given first, and if the equality continues, the candidate with the younger age is given priority.
Candidates who are placed in our university can get a “Placement Result Certificate” from https://ogrbasvuru.deu.edu.tr/Yos/dogrulama_index.php. This document replaces the “Letter of Acceptance” and can be verified at https://ogrbasvuru.deu.edu.tr/Yos/dogrulama_index.php with a verification code. Candidates can obtain a visa by going to the Turkish Embassy in their country with this document.
Note: Equivalency Certificate for high school education is not required from the applicants for the application and Equivalency Certificate is one of the documents required for final registration. The Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Türkiye has the sole discretion to issue the Equivalency Certificate in Türkiye. Diploma equivalence procedures take a very long time due to the high number of people in provincial and district Directorates of National Education. Therefore, candidates are advised to obtain their diploma equivalence certificates from the Turkish Embassy or Turkish Consulate in their country.
